Egg: When this egg was recorded on 5 January 2010, it was described as having 5 pairs of bright white/yellow chromatophores evenly spaced down the body of the larva, like EIIIA6. The egg was however, substantially larger than EIIIA6. Unfortunately no photograph was taken.
Larva: The larva was only photographed at 4 days (Plate C), when preserved for barcoding. Two were barcoded and matched adult C. fulvoguttatus collected locally (BOLD).
The occurrence of eggs of this species, south of Durban, is noteworthy.
